Due to the coronavirus, the 2020 edition of Sziget Festival is, to our big regret, canceled. You can find more information about this in the official reporting by Sziget. About the Sziget Citypass

A stay at the Sziget Festival is not complete without exploring the city of Budapest. Budapest is one of the nicest cities in Europe! The Sziget-Budapest Citypass is a must, because it offers unlimited use of public transport in Budapest and various other benefits.

Public transportation & discounts

With the Sziget-Budapest Citypass you can travel through Budapest unlimited by public transport (tram, metro, bus, HEV, railway) for a certain time, day and night. You can also use the Sziget Ferry boats that sail between the festival island and the city center, including a beautiful view of the Danube! Moreover, with the Citypass you can make free use of the Sziget shuttle buses between the airport and the festival grounds. With the pass you also receive discounts on spa’s and swimming pools.

For short visits to Budapest it is best to purchase a Sziget-Budapest City Pass of 2 days. The Sziget-Budapest Citypass is also available as a 13-day pass. This pass is ideal if you will use public transport every day and for everyone who stays overnight during the Sziget Festival in Budapest.

  • At Akvárium Klub (Erzsébet Square), at the Sziget ticketshops.
  • At the tourist information points of Keleti Treinstation
  • Liszt Ferenc Vliegveld Terminal A+B
