Electronic music festivals in Europe; these are the best choices
Let us inspire you! - Melissa from Festival Travel

When you go to a festival, you want one thing above all: go wild. Dance the night away together to the beats of the world’s best DJs, enjoy light and fireworks shows and party until you can’t anymore. Which European festivals can you this best? That’s what we summed up for you below.

Balaton Sound

In 2021 you will not only find the complete EDM world top at Lake Balaton, Hungary, but also a fine selection of house, techno, trap, dub, drum & bass and trance DJs. In the summer of 2019 Martin Garrix, Kygo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, DJ Snake, Lost Frequencies, Don Diablo, Steve Aoki, Salvatore Ganacci, Robin Schulz, Jax Jones, Paul van Dyk, Jonas Blue, Modestep, Vini Vici, Deborah De Luca, Pan-Pot and Meduza made their appearance.

Exit Festival

The Serbian Exit Festival is the Mecca for underground electronic music fans. The festival is mainly known for its gigantic Dance Arena, where the biggest techno DJs are behind the turntables. You will find this stage in a far corner of the Petrovaradin Fort after a lot of stairs up and then down again until you are in a deep moat between the mighty fortress walls. If the hard beats don’t blow you away here, then the impressive light effects and laser shows will. At dawn, the first rays of sunlight that color the fort in a golden glow, provide a magical feeling.

Electric Castle

Although you can find almost all music styles at Electric Castle, the organization has an important focus on electronic music. From EDM acts on the Main Stage to drum & bass takeovers in the Hangar and from techno DJs in the Booha Mansion to an elrow party in the Courtyard. There is also a Dance Garden and at The Beach and the Hide-Out you can enjoy (deep) house, chill and electro.

Sziget Festival

This Hungarian festival, on an island in the middle of Budapest, is not necessarily known for its electronic line-up, but secretly you will find just about everything your heart desires if you like a solid beat. Previous summers, you were able to dance in the Colosseum venue on the sets of Chris Liebing, Honey Dijon, Dr. Rubinstein, La Fleur, Eelke Kleijn, I Hate Models, Joris Voorn, Kölsch, Rødhåd, Matador and Dixon.
